“ | This ring, despite being pretty early on in the inferno, is quite a spike up in difficulty from the last. The towers here range in difficulty from heart clenching aggravation to screaming your head off and getting your parents worried about you. Accessible from this ring is the bountiful Garden of Eeshöl, home of the Gardener - who planted the seeds of modern life.

Ring 2, also known as Desire, is the second realm of The Great Inferno. It is meant to be a spike in difficulty compared to Ring 1, with many Challenging towers and no Easy towers. The realm contains towers with difficulties ranging from Medium to Insane. The Soul Crushing tower of this realm is Tower of Difficulty Chart, at Bottom Insane. Entering this realm requires beating four towers and having beaten a tower of a harder difficulty than Medium in World 1. This realm also has a subrealm, which is the Garden of Eeshöl. It also has the most Towers in the Ring Select, which is nine.
Prior to the addition of Tower of Phone Snapping and Tower of Big Hole, this realm had the least number of towers in the game before having 9 Towers, 1 Mini Tower, and 1 Citadel, this being 11 Towers in total.
Tower of Difficulty Chart - Classic, at Bottom Insane difficulty, used to be in this realm before it got removed via its creator's request. Before it was removed, many people considered it to be the easiest Soul Crushing tower.
Design
Ring 2 contains a huge grassy area to walk around in, with the towers on top of rocks. You can see Ring 1 in the sky.[b] There are also trees around the map. During Christmas time, it becomes snowy. The lobby also has five pieces of pixel art. The portal emblem of this realm is four wedges that form a diamond shape. You can explore outside the towers and the lobby, since it's really spacious.
Secrets
- First, go outside of the lobby. Then you will see a slope to your right. Walk up the slope and there will be a cow, pointing towards the right. You'll find a path below that's adjacent to said cow. Then, just walk down the path, and you'll come across a barn, which houses the portal to Citadel of Wacky Strategy.
- Watch a visual guide here.
- This realm has a secret Tower called the Tower of Difficulty Chart. You must go next to the portal of Tower of Eternal Suffering then do a corner glitch where the wall is sticking out to reach the portal.
- Around when Tower of One Equals Zero was added, the route was changed temporarily: it was by getting on top of Tower of Cold Hands' portal to get over the wall. The portal would be at the end of the long hallway. This has since been reverted.
- When Tower of Difficulty Chart replaced Tower of Difficulty Chart - Classic, the position for the ToDCC portal was moved. To start, go to the portal room for ToDC (look above if you don't know how to get there), then look for a slightly transparent brick in the Remorseless color. Fit through it and continue down the path. Soon you will fall through the ground, and the ToDCC portal will be there! Although, the Tower has since been removed, and the portal (except for the hints) has been replaced by a tomb.
Go outside of the viewing area. Follow the path until you get to Tower of Cold Hands. Go to the left up the hill, and there should be an opening in the rocks.
- Right next to the Psychologically Unsafe Towers, there is a different colored hole that you can fall into. Fall into there, and the tower rush is in front of you.
- In front of Tower of Cold Hands lies a tree with a secret ladder, climb it and you will be able to observe a disjointed Fidjo20.
- During Halloween Event 2019: Go outside the lobby in the viewing area, and you can spot Fidjo20 in a tree.
- In the credits room, go to the wall behind Cll0y's statue. You will notice a slightly different colored wall when compared to the rest of the wall. Turns out, you can walk through it. After entering the small room, jump up the blocks to claim a hidden badge.
- In the credits room, go behind FRANCOJ1119 and you'll see Kiddie's Beans.
- If you go to the waterfall bridge then go left, you'll find a portal that leads to an obby called "Jukereise's Minecraft World". It is a fairly difficult and short obby with Minecraft blocks.
- In the rocks underneath Tower of Big Hole is a Frog who appears to be a seismologist.
- When you go across the bridge to Garden of Eeshöl, you can instead turn left and climb up a brown colored slope, which leads to a gravestone for Tower of Autumn Harvest.
- In the lobby, head outside from the viewing area and go to the back of the base of the Tower of Falling and Failing from the right side (the side where the baseplate ends). You should see a ladder clinging to the base of Tower of Falling and Failing that leads under the map. Head down and do the obstacle course making sure you don't fall as you will have to restart. After heading inside, follow the little path. You will reach a glass T-Posing metalized Peter Griffin from Family Guy. If you touch him, you will get teleported to a long black hall with ominous music. You'll see a portal with the Nil difficulty. When you get more near to the portal, you'll start making out the name Tower of Broken Tables, which is a tower from Gawd's Awful Towers and Household's Dimension. If you enter the portal (which has everything a Ring 2 portal would have) you'll get teleported to the lobby and then a Seinfeld meme track will play in the background.
- The Jukecallaa NPC in the lobby can be pushed around. (Broken for now)
- A Thanos head could be found in the corner of the map. (Removed)
- A sign near Citadel of Wacky Strategy that says "Look, this is probably never gonna be made." (Removed)
- Similarly to the secret above, Go to Citadel of Wacky Strategy and go to the right. This time, go in front of a small cliff, and you will find a small blue statue in the shape of a tower. There are people around it. The text says "Random blue event. -Blocker, Aamos, Tintom." The people around the statue are KaizObby_guy, isaacking1123, waasaabbi, JaxtheGreat777, kentytenty, AnotherNoobPerson, Bh2s, Apple_FlavoredWater, 0nzc, and vannilayum. This event occurred during March 2020.
- First, use Vertical Mobility to fly up to the replica of Ring 1 in the sky. On top of the lobby, you will find a sign that says "how long did it take for you to VM up here?"
- This is a joke boss. It can be found inside of the rock where Tower of Difficulty Chart - Classic once stood. It cannot be defeated. However, dying on its last phase gives you a badge.
- Get to the waterfall bridge, then walk a bit to the left and you should spot a darker-colored brick at the side of the cliff. Jump through it and you will be teleported to the ToDC:C grave mentioned above.
West of spawn, on one of the highest spires, there is a sign between two trees. It reads, "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but, today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." The sign can only be accessed with use of Vertical Mobility.
