“ | The starting place for people who dare challenge Juke's Towers of Hell. It is for those who enjoy obbies and basically play them for a living. Most of the population of the game resides here due to how many noobs there are. Apparently there is an ominous tram somewhere in the main island.

Ring 1, also known as Limbo, is the first realm you can play in The Great Inferno, along with Zone 1. Overall, it is easier than the next realm, Ring 2, but harder than Ring 3. This realm's subrealm is Forgotten Ridge. This realm is also almost always home to event subrealms. During around 2018, the lobby was darker, and the portal rims were mid-dark gray.
Ring 1 has 12 towers, 1 mini tower, 1 citadel, and 1 Tower Rush. Ring 1 has a tower from every difficulty ranging from Easy to Insane. Most of the game’s population resides here because of how many new players there are. It is unlocked from the start, along with Zone 1. Thanos Tower is the Soul Crushing tower of this realm, which is Low Insane difficulty.
Ring 1 was originally the home to the Citadel of Void, which was nil difficulty, but the citadel was cancelled. Originally, Tower of Confusion was in this realm as a GODSPEED tower but was moved to Ring 3. Tower of Slight Unhappiness used to be in this realm but was removed, renamed, and moved to Zone 1, before being later replaced altogether.[c][2][3] Tower of Broken Bricks was intended to be in the realm,[4] but was removed due to lag issues and later released in Zone 3.
Design
This realm is located in the sky, consisting of a bunch of floating islands, on the floating islands are the towers of the realm. As such, whenever you fall out of a tower, you will either land on the floating island of the tower or fall in the void, leading to your death. The lobby changes as the seasons and events come and go, such as Halloween or Christmas. The portal emblem of this realm is a circle.
Prior to the Christmas Event 2018, you were not able to go outside of the lobby without glitches.
Secrets
- In the cat therapy room, there is a wall that can be walked through behind one of the pictures to the left of the entryway. Going through that wall and taking a right leads to NEAT's portal.
- There is a button on a tree in the viewing area, pressing it opens a hole in the floor, where you'll find the Ring 1 Tower Rush.
- Additionally, you can find the secret text by jumping over R1TR's portal. Then, you enter the secret room that says, "you found the secret."
- To find this tower, go to the Community Shelf located in the Credits room. On the shelf, you will find an Infinity Gauntlet. Pick it up, and it will follow you, just like a key. Go over to the Psychologically Unsafe Towers and walk over the dropper area where the Citadel of Void's portal was once located. The Infinity Gauntlet will open up the dropper and the portal to Thanos Tower will be in the room.
There is a new yellow obby below the viewing area in Ring 1. Complete the obby to arrive at a trolley station, where you click a button to make the trolley move. After some time, you will be teleported to Forgotten Ridge.
- On 6/7/2020, a major secret was added to Ring 1. Upon completing many, different tasks, the option to replay past events is unlocked. Click here for more information.
- Alternatively, inside one of the corners in the Elevator Secret, Sans's head can be found inside the wall.
- In the credits room, if you turn left, you should see a small ladder right next to the edge of the entry. Climb up that ladder, and you will enter a secret room with Fidjo20 sitting on a chair at a desk.
- You can find a second Fidjo20 in the secret staff room. If you go around the platform that the helpers are standing on, you will find a doorway leading to another Fidjo20 spying on the first one while wearing three pairs of glasses.
- Go outside the lobby in the gate between the Towers and the Viewing Area; if you zoom out and look off the edge, you see a small ledge with a semi-transparent corner flip. Jump down to it and do the corner flip. You will then be in a room with the obby. Complete the obby, and then you will be teleported to the old version of Ring 1's winroom. The teleporter used to teleport you somewhere above the void. But before that, the teleporter used to teleport you to a bright, reflective room with a sign that says "I like your face :D" on it. This obby was originally planned to be the entrance to The Great Centurial (Subrealm). The room used to have a code that could be used in The Great Centurial's practice place. When the fake version of Ring 2 was first added, it teleported you somewhere above that fake version of Ring 2, though it is unknown if this was intentional.
There is now a separate practice obby in Ring 1 was originally added as part of a monthly challenge until it was made official on July 31, 2023.[5]
- In the credits room lies a picture of the pensive face emoji. Jump towards it, and you will be teleported to a room with everyone from the staff team, current and retired.
- Before this, you need to do the elevator secret first.
- First, enter the elevator and go down to floor 0 (where the replayable events are).
- Next, go to the elevator again, but instead of going to the surface, press "1" and immediately spam the 0 button. After that, you just clipped inside the lobby island.
- Then, corner flip your way to the Thanksgiving 2019 Portal, and upon seeing a one-stud-wide gap, enter it.
- Fact: You can access this area through a false one-stud gap in the corner of the Ring 1 Tower Rush room.
- NOTE: You can no longer use the elevator secret on that server until you rejoin.
Upon reaching the bottom, you can find a sign saying "No, really, You're not supposed to be here".
- In the viewing area, there is a small poster showing a noob falling down. This screenshot is taken from one of Micheal P's videos (https://youtu.be/H-fWXSAO76Y). This is most likely a joke about players falling down.
- On the Community Shelf, there is a "Tower Making Kit" with Norby and Narby Corp. on the bottom right of the box.
- On the Halloween event, a random morse code can be found outside the lobby, translating to "WAIT UNTIL THIS MESSAGE CHANGES".

Notable Feats
Current
- As of November 2023, this realm had the most subrealms, at nineteen, including events.
- This realm contains the most towers with one-letter acronyms, having six towers (them being ToA, ToM, ToK, ToH, ToS, and ToR).
Former
- This realm previously had the greatest number of towers in The Great Inferno (assuming you count Mini Towers), though it was eventually dethroned by Ring 9.
- This realm has the most towers that used to have a Gold Star.
History
- If you spawned in Ring 1 between July 8 and August 8, 2021, there was a podium to the right of the towers section. This represented myfart8101 being the first person to beat the game's current hardest tower, Tower of Cruel Punishment, on the eighth of July.

Footnotes
- ↑ Will be about ~1 Tower required, when Ring 0 releases.
- ↑ Including NEAT.
- ↑ This revamp was named Tower of Another Beginning, and it was confirmed by Gammattor.[1]
- ↑ These subrealms are meant to serve the purpose of revisiting old monthly towers. All monthly towers were placed in different realms over different months of the year.
- ↑ Note that this subrealm does not exist during the event. This event was held in Ring 2 instead. This subrealm serves a purpose of making Tower of Autumn Harvest replayable post event.
- ↑ Mount Rad was originally going to be a subrealm for this ring but was later moved to Ring 3.[6]
- ↑ The original version was restored.
- ↑ The original was pitched down a little not too long before the change to JToH, however, it was pitched up to its original pitch again around the time that Zone 1 was released.
- ↑ The Up image has been turned 90° to the right for a better angle.
